東海高中用了數十年的堅持來證明「生活教育」是培養品德的根基，即使是現今科技時代仍是極為重要且有價值的教育精隨。我們不斷的在校園裡透過日常生活機會教育、班級經營溝通與辦理講座活動啟發等，使學生沈浸在規矩，有禮貌，且相互尊重的環境裡；經過三年的薰陶，轉化為帶得走且終身受用的人生態度(技能)。

We believe that students are to learn how to perform the fundamental technical skills well and consistent in order to build a great foundation, which is far more important than jumping ahead to the advanced skills at high school level. Inspired by the Japanese culture of pursuing - kyokuchi "極致", the highest level or degree attainable. The highly skilled craftsmen perform the same tasks day after day in search for the ultimate perfection in their respective area of expertise. The pursuit of Kyokuchi mentality is what we believe to be an crucial element of success for our students in the future, whether they seek to learn advanced skills at Universities or they decide to enter the labor force.

Furthermore, observational ability, critical thinking skills, Integrative thinking, problem solving, and creativity are critical abilities to be learned in the 21st century, regardless of whether they matter for standardized exams. Our team at Tung Hai are actively re-evaluating our teaching methods and making continuous adjustments to adapt to the industry trends and the learning habits of current/future generation students.

How to prepare our students to compete against and not be replaced by various AI technologies? How do our students remain competitive while living in the world that is so connected via internet?
